Sales Kick-Off Corporate Conference January 2023
Hunter Events — one of the top ten Corporate Event Planners in San Francisco — planned and coordinated a Corporate Conference in the historic The Claremont Hotel and Spa in Berkeley, CA. Hunter Events also played a crucial and integral role with the room layout, design, lighting and overall production of this event.
This was indeed a very heartwarming Conference — which up until January of 2020 — the last time the group met together as a whole — was considered an “Annual” Conference. Unbeknownst to everyone at that time, immediately after that Conference — the pandemic hit. This 2023 Conference was the first time in three years since the attendees have all been back together. It was all about the power of connection and re-connecting one on one. No Zoom calls.
The Conference brought in guests from all over the United States, as well as a large number of local attendees. The guests eagerly gathered for an Opening Night Reception, followed by two all-day meetings with guest speakers, round table discussions and a Closing Night Cocktail Party.
As with all Corporate Company Events planned by Hunter Events, the guests were well cared for each and every minute of the Conference. Throughout the day-long meetings, guests were provided with breakfast and lunch buffets, refreshments and light snacks to remain energized and focused all day.
GUEST SPEAKERS AND TALENT
Two very special guest speakers were hired for this Conference. On Day One Brittany Hodak and Chris Bashinelli on Day Two. Bashinelli hit home on the true and real power of connection for everyone in the audience. Hunter coordinated all logistics for the speakers, including all Audio Visual needs, all logistics and rehearsals for the Speakers. Hunter hired a Mentalist, Robert Strong for the close of the final Day. The show was customized with a pre-conference call to obtain “inside” information that would surprise and delight the guests throughout the performance. That it did.
TECHNICAL + AUDIO VISUAL COORDINATION
As with all Corporate Conferences or Events planned by Hunter Events, Hunter oversees all aspects of the Audio Visual component for each Event — which is a critical and monumental portion of any show. Hunter partners with many seasoned Technical Directors who oversee and then run all aspects of this technical and AV portion. This complex and time consuming process includes negotiating and securing the AV equipment and needs for the show and overseeing the technical needs for each individual or group who will be on the stage. Hunter consistently schedules a technical run through or rehearsal the night before for anyone taking the stage the following day. This process puts the Speakers or talent at ease, familiarizes the AV crew with their role, and guarantee’s a successful and flawless event.
VENUE SEARCH AND PRODUCTION
As one of the best Event Planning companies in San Francisco, Hunter Events puts experience and skill to the test to search and select the finest venues around the world — appropriate to the Client’s unique needs. Located just a few miles from downtown San Francisco, the Claremont Hotel offers large, flexible meeting rooms high atop the scenic Berkeley/Oakland Hills. The hotel’s larger spaces comfortably accommodated all guests during the day-long meetings, and smaller-breakout rooms were offered for more intimate discussions and team building activities. Specialty reception rooms were also available to accommodate guests at the opening and closing night receptions.
For this Corporate Conference, Hunter Events set the Claremont Hotel Ballroom into an organized and functional meeting space. A stage was placed front and center with up-lighting to brighten the branded podium and company signage. Branded banners were also up-lit and placed throughout the room. Two large video screens flanked each side of the stage and an audio-visual team, under the direction of Hunter Events, seamlessly deployed the live production during the meetings. Guests were delighted to learn that they were all provided with a customized Event App for the Conference — which had a huge and positive impact on both the Conference — as well as the environment.
Guests at the Corporate Conference were able to fully experience the important topics discussed during each meeting, break-out sessions and team building activity. The Client was pleased at the success of the Conference, as well as the outstanding service and Event Planning provided by Hunter Events. Our team was grateful to provide the Client with an impactful 3-day Conference during which their attendees networked, met new faces and reconnected with current work mates. Attendees also learned new information and celebrated awards won — therefore making attendance extremely worthwhile.
