EVENT OVERVIEW
Hunter Events — one of the top ten Corporate Event Planners in San Francisco — planned and coordinated a Corporate Conference in the historic The Claremont Resort and Spa in Berkeley, CA. Hunter Events also played a crucial and integral role with the room layout, design, lighting and overall production of this event.
The Conference drew attendees from across the United States, along with a strong local presence. The experience kicked off with a high-energy Opening Night Reception, followed by two full days of dynamic meetings featuring two standout guest speakers, and wrapped with a celebratory Closing Night Cocktail Party.
MEAL COORDINATION
As with all corporate events meticulously planned by Hunter Events, every detail was thoughtfully executed to ensure guests felt welcomed, comfortable, and cared for from start to finish. During the day-long conference, attendees were treated to a seamless hospitality experience, beginning with a gourmet breakfast buffet to start the morning on a high note. Throughout the sessions, an array of refreshments and light snacks were readily available to keep energy levels up and minds sharp. A beautifully presented lunch buffet offered a variety of nourishing and flavorful options, accommodating diverse dietary needs. INSPIRATIONAL SPEAKERS: STRENGTH, RESILIENCE & HUMOR
James Lawrence, known worldwide as The Iron Cowboy, is a renowned ultra-endurance athlete and keynote speaker who redefines the limits of human potential. Famous for completing 50 Ironman-distance triathlons in 50 consecutive days across 50 states—and later 100 Ironman-distance races in 100 consecutive days—James brings a powerful message of mental toughness, discipline, and resilience. On stage, he translated extraordinary physical feats into relatable, actionable lessons, challenging the audience to raise their standards, keep promises to themselves, and push forward when it matters most.
Closing the Conference was Beth Sherman, a speaker, comedian, and seven-time Emmy Award–winning Hollywood comedy writer whose credits include The Late Show with David Letterman, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Ellen, and the Academy Awards. Beth delivered a customized, high-energy closing filled with sharp wit, insight, and genuine connection—leaving the audience laughing, energized, and inspired, with practical takeaways they could immediately apply to communication, confidence, and forward momentum.
TECHNICAL + AUDIO-VISUAL
No conference, meeting, or corporate event is truly complete without the expertise of a seasoned Technical Director and a skilled audio-visual team. Hunter personally oversees all aspects of the audio-visual execution, recognizing its critical role in delivering a seamless and impactful experience.
We collaborate with experienced Technical Directors who manage every facet of the AV and production process. From sourcing and negotiating the necessary equipment to overseeing the unique technical requirements of each speaker or on-stage group, every detail is handled with precision.
In advance of every event, Hunter Events conducts a thorough technical run-through for all speakers and talent. This rehearsal not only ensures the AV team is fully prepared, but also helps speakers feel confident and comfortable on stage. VENUE SEARCH

Located just a few miles from downtown San Francisco, The Claremont Hotel and Spa offers large, flexible meeting rooms high atop the scenic Berkeley/Oakland Hills. The hotel’s larger spaces comfortably accommodated all guests during the day-long meetings. Historic reception rooms were also available to accommodate guests at the opening and closing night receptions.
For this corporate conference, Hunter Events transformed the Empire Room at The Claremont Resort and Club into a polished, highly organized General Session environment. A centrally positioned stage anchored the room, accented with uplighting to highlight the branded podium and company signage. Branded banners, strategically placed and illuminated throughout the space, reinforced the visual identity, while two large video screens flanked the stage for maximum visibility. Under the direction of Hunter Events, the audio-visual team executed the live production seamlessly, ensuring a smooth and engaging meeting experience.
