Private Event: 85th Birthday Party, Ritz-Carlton, San Francisco

EVENT OVERVIEW

Hunter Events — one of the top ten Corporate Event Planners in San Francisco — planned and coordinated a private 85th birthday celebration at the historic 5-star Hotel, The Ritz-Carlton Hotel San Francisco.  Hunter Events also played a crucial and integral role with the room layout, design, lighting food and beverage and overall production of this event.

 

“Bill’s Big Bash” (a moniker for the name of the event and on the invitation) brought in guests from all over the United States, as well as many local attendees. A room block was established at the Hotel, where overnight guests could enjoy the countless amenities The Ritz-Carlton has to offer at this historic hotel.

RECEPTION

The party began with passed hors d’oeuvres, a Premium Bar, and Champagne in The Terrace Courtyard.  The Courtyard features a garden of vibrant flowers and well-manicured hedges, and comfortable garden seating for the guests.  It also has a city skyline view, serene red brick fountain.  This charming outdoor setting was the ideal start for this milestone event.

DINNER EVENT AND MEAL COORDINATION

Guests then moved in to adjacent The Terrace Room, where they enjoyed a three-course gourmet meal in this elegant and beautiful room.  Hunter Events helped plan and select both the hors d’oeuvres and entrees for this special event.  A three-tiered cake was custom made by the on-site Patisserie Chef for both display, and the focal point of the event.  After the guests and the birthday recipient made brief speeches, the candles were blown out.  As the guest said, “On to 90!”
