Corporate Anniversary Celebration Event

EVENT OVERVIEW

Hunter Events — one of the top ten Corporate event planners in San Francisco — planned and produced an elegant two-year Corporate Anniversary Event. This event was held at the landmark Hong Kong East Ocean Restaurant in Emeryville, California.

COCKTAIL AND MEAL COORDINATION

As with all corporate Events planned by Hunter Events, the menu for this reception was carefully crafted and tailored to the Client’s specific needs. Guests enjoyed an array of hors d’oeuvres and a selection of fine cocktails throughout the evening. Mouthwatering buffets of fresh Seafood, a Dim Sum Bar, Fresh Crab  and a grilled salmon carving station delighted each guest. A delectable dessert bar, complete with chocolate éclairs, lemon squares, fudge brownies and gourmet cupcakes rounded out the experience.

VENUE SEARCH AND PRODUCTION

The event took place as a buy-out of Hong Kong East Ocean Restaurant.  Established in 1989 and recently renovated, the  restaurant has a variety of beautiful salt-water fish tanks. HKE sources exotic seafoods domestically and internationally, and air freights live seafood from Australia, Alaska, and other lands. Some of the live seafood include: Giant Spot Shrimps, Coral Trout, Australian Lobster, and Alaska King Crab.

For decades, HKE has maintained the traditional Hong Kong style cuisine while adapting and accommodating to the guests’ taste. The restaurant boasts floor to celling windows, offering guests a beautiful view of the San Francisco Bay and the Golden Gate Bridge.

ENTERTAINMENT AND DECOR

The entire restaurant was transformed to show case the beauty of the Bay and create an ambient, subtle party setting.  The existing, bright ceiling lights were not used.  Instead, lighting was brought in specifically for this event.  Theatrical uplights — in hues of blue, pink and yellow flanked the space and created a beautiful, sultry event space.  All of the bars and foos stations were illuminated with lighting as well.  A custom made 36″ gong on a wooden stand was made for this Celebration — emblazoned with the Clients’ logo.  Black draping and an elegant bronze shimmer curtain backed the gong area.  Furthermore, the gong area acted as a backdrop for the photo area.  Each guests posed with the gong and was given a photo as a keepsake of this memorable event.

EVENT IMPACT

Guests at this Corporate Anniversary Event were able to celebrate their achievements in a most unique and unforgettable way. The delectable menu items, the exquisite beverages left an indelible impression on each and every attendee. But above all, the theatrics and lighting, decor and props brought in for this defined the event like none other.
