Corporate Customer Event: Mitsubishi September 2017

EVENT OVERVIEW

Hunter Events — one of the top ten Corporate event planners in San Francisco — planned and produced the coolest (literally!) customer event for Mitsubishi Electric. This event was held at the Minus 5º Ice Bar and Lounge inside the Mandalay Bay Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. Guests gathered from all corners of the world for an international solar panel conference and our client, Mitsubishi Electric, wanted nothing more than to make a solid impression on their customers.

COCKTAIL AND MEAL COORDINATION

The guests were focused on networking and mingling during the party, so Hunter Events was careful to craft a menu that would still satisfy without taking away from conversations. An array of hors d’oeuvres and a buffet of gourmet sliders and sides delighted the guests as they moved throughout the party. A dessert bar filled with mini key lime pies and cheesecakes sweetened the experience.

Because no party is complete without an open bar of fine cocktails and top-shelf liquors, a custom-made Ice Luge served ice-cold martinis, and was the centerpiece on the ice bar. The Ice Luge was designed to replicate a Mitsubishi Solar Panel and displayed a full-color Mitsubishi company logo.

VENUE SEARCH AND PRODUCTION

As one of the top event planning companies in San Francisco, Hunter Events puts experience and skill to the test to search and select the finest venues around the world — appropriate to the Client’s unique and specific needs. For this solar panel conference, it was imperative that the party attracted conference attendees so that Mitsubishi Electric could meet and greet as many customers as possible. With that in mind, Hunter Events was sure to provide an experience cooler than any other conference party — and the Minus 5º Ice Bar and Lounge fit the bill.

The venue was a winter wonderland and completely made of ice from floor to ceiling. The walls, the chandeliers, the seats and even the beverage glasses were made of crystal clear ice, and embellished with an exciting LED light show for an even cooler ambiance. Upbeat music played as guests took in the pristine surroundings. The freezing, temperature-controlled room would normally leave guests out in the cold, but upon entrance, they were outfitted with warm parkas, mittens and custom-made Mitsubishi Electric knit caps to comfortably enjoy the atmosphere and explore the different ice sculptures and ice rooms.

ENTERTAINMENT

Although the Ice Bar was the coolest place to party, a Warming Lounge was also available for guests to shed their winter gear and enjoy the savory appetizers and entrées. Ping-pong, billiards, and other games were provided in the Warming Lounge to offer a little competitive entertainment to the experience.

EVENT IMPACT

The unique venue set itself apart from any other Company Event during the conference and the Ice Bar was almost at max capacity the entire evening. Mitsubishi Electric was pleased with the venue’s hospitality, the impressive atmosphere of the Minus 5º Ice Bar and Lounge and the outstanding service and event planning provided by Hunter Events. Guests left the Company Event with their photo GIFs, new connections, custom-made knit hats — and more importantly, a refreshing impression of Mitsubishi Electric. Now that’s cool!
