Closing Night Reception: National MI Thrive ’25 Conference

EVENT OVERVIEW

Hunter Events — one of the top ten Corporate Event Planners in San Francisco — planned, produced and coordinated a Closing Night Cocktail Reception at The Claremont Hotel and Spa in Berkeley, CA.
 
As with all of the events Hunter designs and produces, room lighting, food and bar presentation and room ambiance are critical aspects for each event. Hunter spends a great deal of time designing the lighting and ‘look and feel’ of the buffets, bars and overall room lighting. Careful attention is paid to the food presentation; the food becomes edible art, placed in or on hand selected, modern clean containers. The appropriate tone needs to be designed for whatever the occasion might be. In this case – the last night of a three day Conference – Hunter created a soothing, ambient and relaxing atmosphere.
 
This Corporate Cocktail Reception was the final night of a 3-day Conference. Guests from all corners of the United States joined a group of local attendees for the all-day meetings, guest speakers, round table discussions and team building events, as well as an Opening Night Reception.

COCKTAIL AND MEAL COORDINATION

As with all Corporate Company Events planned by Hunter Events, the menu for this cocktail reception was carefully crafted alongside the Chef of The Claremont Hotel and Spa.

Guests enjoyed Oysters on the Half Shell, Clams with Herb Oil, Poached Prawns, Dungeness Crab, and a variety of Slider’s. A premium bar serving Domain Chandon Brut, La Crema Chardonnay and Duck Horn Cabernet Sauvignon Blanc delicious desserts, rounded out the experience.

Massage Therapy

As The Claremont Hotel and Spa is a world-renowned  Spa, guests were offered a 10-minute chair massage therapy sessions. The seasoned therapists focused on the areas of the body that carry tension, including the neck, back, and arms. A Massage Concierge handled the scheduling on site to assure the guests were scheduled. Because no special preparation or clothing removal is necessary, the guests felt as comfortable as possible during the massage. And, if their eyes were open, they would have seen the beautiful sunset across the Bay. All guests felt rejuvenated, re-energized and ready to mingle after this wonderful treat.

VENUE SEARCH AND PRODUCTION

Located just a few miles from downtown San Francisco, the The Claremont Hotel and Spa offers large, flexible meeting rooms high atop the scenic Berkeley/Oakland Hills. The hotel’s larger spaces comfortably accommodated all guests during the day-long meetings, and smaller-breakout rooms were offered for more intimate discussions.

EVENT IMPACT

Guests at the Corporate Cocktail Reception were able to engage in conversation with their colleagues in a carefree, yet stylish environment. Everyone enjoyed the delicious cuisine, spectacular views of the city and the chance to toast to a successful 3-day Conference. The Client was pleased with the venue’s hospitality, as well as the outstanding service and event planning provided by Hunter Events.
