Most corporate events are a story waiting to unfold. At Hunter Events, we ensure that every single detail -- and new, bold ideas -- contributes to an unforgettable experience. We had the privilege of planning and producing an elegant and mysterious Eyes Wide Shut themed Masquerade corporate event at The Lodge in the Regency Center in San Francisco—a venue steeped in history and grandeur.
As with all of our productions, Hunter Events customized every detail of not only the entire event, but brought in the entertainment for this extraordinary evening. Hunter wrote the script and hired a professional organist (dressed like The Phantom of the Opera) and two professional aerial artists.
The Lodge also features the original Austin Organ from 1909 – which was tuned and used specifically for this particular event.
The highlight of the night was a fully original, 15-minute aerial act written and produced by Hunter Events—an unforgettable surprise for the guests. At 8:45 p.m., the ambient lighting in the Lodge suddenly cut out, leaving only candlelight. Silence fell. Then, the thundering opening of Toccata & Fugue in D Minor blasted from the stately organ, now bathed in deep red light. The masked organist—cloaked in a black beaded cape—commanded the room with eerie presence.
As the final notes faded, the organist pointed slowly to two opposite corners of the room. Beams of light revealed two identical, jeweled-masked women—one blonde, one brunette—who emerged from the shadows and met in the center of the floor. Wordlessly, they removed their masks, and the aerial performance began.
Suspended high above the crowd, the duo twisted and flew in perfect synchronicity, captivating every guest. At the end, they gently replaced each other’s masks, exchanged a final glance, and disappeared back into darkness. As the ambient lights slowly returned, the crowd erupted in applause. Moments later, the band kicked off, and the dancing began—a truly unforgettable night.
