Corporate Conference: Opening Night Reception July 2018

Hunter Events — one of the top ten Corporate Event planners in San Francisco — hosted an opening night Cocktail Reception in The Claremont Hotel, in Berkeley, CA. Hunter Events also played a crucial and integral role with the branding and messaging for this event.

The Corporate Opening Night Reception was the first night of a 3-day Conference. Guests from all corners of the United States joined a group of local attendees for the all-day meetings, guest speakers, round table discussions and team building events, as well as a Closing Night Cocktail Party.


Guests enjoyed an array of hors d’oeuvres and a selection of fine cocktails throughout the evening. As with all corporate Company events planned by Hunter, the menu for this reception was carefully crafted and tailored to the Client’s specific needs.

Specialty reception rooms were also available to host guests at the Opening and Closing night Receptions.

At this Opening Night Reception, the guests were greeted at The Claremont Hotel Lobby Lounge & Bar by Conference staff and the Hunter Events team. There, they confirmed their attendance at the Conference, connected with fellow Colleagues and indulged in delicious refreshments.

The guests were also welcome to gather in the The Claremont Hotel Hillary Tenzing Room. Tucked just off the main lobby, this uniquely designed space celebrates the legacies of Sir Edmund Hillary and Sherpa Tenzing Norgay, the first climbers to summit Mt. Everest on May 29, 1953, with one-of-a-kind artifacts and artwork, as well as stunning Bay Views. This finely decorated space was a sophisticated place for guests to relax and mingle, as they prepared for the upcoming Conference Meetings.


Guests at the Opening Night Reception were welcomed to the Conference in a casual and carefree environment, where they were given the opportunity to network and get excited for the Conference Events that lie ahead. Everyone enjoyed the sumptuous appetizers and refreshing beverages, and the chance to network with new and old work acquaintances. The Client was pleased with the venue’s hospitality, as well as the outstanding service and Event Planning provided by Hunter Events.
